Sch 65+ Do You Have It?

I wanna try this out lol, maybe on some Tier III ZNM's, as they are easy to get pops for
I have an Armed Gear pop (which might not work so well as it has an initial big resistance to magic)
I can get a Dea pop to try it, already have his trophy traded in
Also can get the Mamool pop of that family too, can get a Tinnin pop once i get them 2 down

All this takes is 1 75Sch/Blm, preferably with some Helix merits and a but load of mab gear, ES > Ebuillence > Cryohelix shud land for 150+, the video shows the Helix for 190 dmg

If we can get maybe 10 Sch's with Modus Veritas it would go something like this
According to Wiki, Modus Veritas appears to "double" the damage done with the Helix

So if we take the base helix done as 150, the formula would be 150*2 to the power of 10 (if we had 10 Sch)

Helix = 150
Modus 1 = 300
Modus 2 = 600
Modus 3 = 1200
etc
Modus 10 = 153600 ....

So .... post up if u have Sch 65+, and if any 75 Schs would be confident in poppin off the first Helix spell, imma go stock up on Zeni
If we get enough people, possibilities of what mobs we can take are endless lol, maybe try some Tier IV ZNMs with this, would most prolly require a pld/nin or a nin/drk to hold it for a few seconds while the first Sch does his stuff

To make this work, you need 75 with capped helix duration merits on all schs. Without, it throws out the timing and makes it more difficult. But if done correctly, very powerful.

You need to do a little more reading into this, it's a lot more difficult than you make out.

MV's drawback to doubling the damage is a cut in duration, therefore all schs need to be 75 with 5/5 MV merits.
The more MVs you use, the more precise the timing has to be to avoid the helix wearing before the 1st tick of damage.

Landing 9 MVs is unbelievably difficult without the use of app or something similar, I'd go as far as to say it would be near impossible for human players to do 10 or more.

I have the capped merits and a pretty decent helix set if you decide to pursue this further.

yeah i was sayin to Hachi, i made this post in the excitment of seeing it in action, after reading up on some information about Helix and MV, i think we would need Schs with the merits required, i have 4/5 MV merits, havnt got round to gettin the 5th but it wouldnt take long

I think it would be more trial and error, we would all have to get used to the lag on the server etc

Thinking that, like King said, 10 Schs is gnna be stupid, close to imposible, to land, can maybe push 7 or 8

After some research if all Schs have MV merrited, we'd have around a 3-6 second window for everyone to fire their MV, seems like the kind of strat that would take alot of practice, but yeah, so very powerful lol, i'd like to atleast attempt it =D

We were talking about Tinnin, seeing if we can kill it before his heads respawn with a MV Burn, im working towards gettin the seal to be able to buy a pop for him, be interesting to try it out

Keade - 4/5 MV Merits
King - 5/5 MV, (Helix Caster)
Tula - 5/5 MV
Hachi - 0/5 MV
Winged Angel - 1/5 MV

gnna carry on working towards pop, if anyone wants to help kil Armed Gears i have a pop item =D in the mean time can wait for more Schs who are interested =p

As for Armed Gears, i only want the trophy, u can have the boots if they drop =)

people are alowed to pull entire zones an get people stupid amounts of expierence so people can get their loljobs up is anoying >:O
